OOAK Miniature Gnome with a Book – Handmade Art Doll

Meet this thoughtful little forest gnome, a curious and somewhat serious-looking fellow who seems much more interested in books than in wandering around the forest. With his pointed green hat, wild red hair, long ears, rustic clothes, and a large old-fashioned book tucked under his arm, he looks like a tiny scholar who has spent far too many evenings reading by candlelight.

His expressive face and slightly grumpy expression give him plenty of character, while his textured handmade clothing, tiny buttons, belt, pointed shoes, and patterned jacket create a wonderfully old-world, storybook appearance. The large handmade book is decorated with small painted details and looks like it might contain some very important — and possibly very secret — knowledge.

This OOAK miniature art doll is entirely hand-sculpted and hand-painted. A wire armature inside allows the arms and legs to be moved slightly for posing. Every element, from his clothing and tiny accessories to his distinctive face and handmade book, is individually crafted and finished by hand.
